ABOUT ME

My name is Tania. I am a psychotherapist as well being a mother, an artist, a Buddhist, a pet owner, a yogi, and much more.

I'm passionate about facilitating people's self-growth and healing, for that has been an important part of my life too. I have personally witnessed the transformation that can take place when we decide to look inwards.

Deciding to seek help can seem daunting and scary, and it takes courage to take that first step. I’m here to support you on your journey to healing and self-empowerment.

Life sometimes can feel overwhelming, and you may find yourself stuck in the same relationships patterns, lacking motivation, feeling lonely or disconnected, experiencing low self-esteem, or simply sensing that something isn’t quite right. These feelings are more common than you think, and you’re not alone in experiencing them.

As a qualified psychotherapist, I'm dedicated to helping you navigate these challenges.

I provide a safe, empathic, and non-judgemental space where we will explore the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that may be holding you back.

Together, we will recognise and break free from self-defeating patterns. You will have the opportunity to reconnect with your innate worth, and develop effective coping strategies.

Through our therapeutic partnership, my aim is to empower you to live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.

I worked as a counselling tutor, as well as being a published author.

I’m bilingual and offer my services in both English and Italian.

How I can help

I trained as a humanistic psychotherapist, which means that I place you at the heart of the therapeutic process. Your experiences, values, and goals are the compass that guides our work together. I focus on my therapeutic relationship with you, as I believe that it is the quality of our therapeutic alliance that can bring about personal growth and transformation.

I have also specialised in understanding and addressing process addictions, i.e. love, sex, work, eating, exercise, etc. These are compulsive behaviours that can take over our lives, often stemming from underlying traumas and anxieties. Through compassionate exploration, we uncover the self-limiting beliefs and anxieties that fuel them, and look for effective ways to pave the way for healing and growth.

I use a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, transactional analysis, trauma-informed therapy, to meet your unique needs. Additionally, I trained as a somatic therapist so am in tune with how trauma manifests in the body, and familiar with healing modalities that can offer you additional tools and techniques to support your healing journey.

My services are open and inclusive to individuals from all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, or disability.
